The Woman Behind Rosehill

Love stories that refuse to behave.

Eliza Flint writes hot, funny, Australian, romantic comedy about older lovers, small communities and the kind of desire that refuses to behave sensibly.

She lives a few hours drive north of Brisbane with the love of her life, her brindle Staffy x dogs, three horses and a dozen misbehaving chickens. She has a deep appreciation of wide skies, quiet tracks and the Australian outback. Her days are usually divided between writing, chai cuppas, feeding the animals, long walks and finally living life on her own terms

Eliza is drawn to stories about people who have lived enough life to know better, then fall in love anyway. Her books explore second chances, long memories, inconvenient attraction, public embarrassment, private tenderness and the pleasures of being nowhere near finished.

She writes the Island Hours series, set on the fictional Rosehill Island, where gossip travels faster than the ferry, nobody minds their own business and love has a habit of becoming public before anyone involved has approved the wording.

The Writing Craft

Romance with genuine emotional heat.

We deserve romances about people who should know better, but choose the beautiful, sun-drenched trouble anyway. Real love is messy, witty, and worth the gossip.
